There was mild drama at the hallowed red chamber of Nigeria National Assembly during plenary today. Senator Dino Melaye representing Kogi West Senatorial District, while contributing to the motion sponsored by Senator Eyinnaya Abaribe on the need to patronize local made goods, said the campaign shouldn’t be limited to goods alone but also women as “Nigerians prefer imported ladies to made in Nigeria women”
Senator Melaye made reference to Edo State Governor while driving his joke or is it point “With due apology to my Comrade Governor of Edo state, we must start to campaign for made in Nigeria girls. It is time for my colleagues to start patronising made in Nigeria women”
