Otunba Vincent Akingunsoye Foundation (OVAF) supports Ondo Widows

A non-governmental organization known as Otunba Vincent Akingunsoye Foundation (OVAF) has brought smiles to the faces of over 150 widows in Ondo Kingdom. In celebrating the death and supernatural resurrection of Jesus Christ, one of the chief tenets of Christianity, the OVAF distributed food and other household items to widows.

The event held at the St. Patrick’s RCM, Primary school, Olorunsola Street, Yaba, Ondo City on Good Friday 7th April 2023 was part of the Foundation’s missions in providing household and education support to the needy and promoting peaceful and meaningful development in Ondo Kingdom and beyond.

The event which kicked off at about 2:00 pm lived up to its expectations, the beneficiaries were full of praise and prayers for the donor’s kind gesture.

Speaking at the ceremony, Otunba Vincent Akingunsoye, a United State based Public Health professional and business mogul, who was represented by the Foundation’s Project Coordinator, emphasized that the foundation is only fulfilling one of his goals of providing succour for people in need.

“The vision is to invest happiness in every heart by connecting every need of a basic life to the fulfilment of an expected future. And that’s exactly what we are doing, there is more to come”

He enjoined Christians in Ondo Kingdom to emulate the love of Christ and continue to sustain the peaceful coexistence in the Kingdom.
