Alhaji Mogaji Olaniyi, the National Chairman of the Police Community Relations Committee has advocated for strong and sustainable synergy between communities and the police, explaining that it would enhance effective security management and police efficiency.
He made this remark while on a visit to the Gombe State Police Command Headquarters on Wednesday where he met CP Bello Yahaya, the commissioner of Police as well as other senior police officers.
“The synergy between the Police and the community remains critical to building trust, gathering intelligence, and ensuring lasting peace in our society,” Olaniyi said.
“I want to commend the Gombe State Police Command for their dedication to duty and urge that this partnership be sustained for the benefit of all.”
In his response, CP Yahaya expressed appreciation for the visit, noting that the command remains committed to strengthening police-community relations.
“We deeply value the support of the PCRC and will continue to work hand in hand with the community to enhance security and public safety across Gombe State,” Yahaya stated.
