UZODINMA POSTPONES SCHEDULED STATE OF IMO ADDRESS

The executive Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodimma has rescheduled the State of the State address initially scheduled for Wednesday, June 18, 2025.

 

This disclosure was made on Tuesday by Declan Emelumba, the state Commissioner for Information, Public Orientation and Strategy.

 

Uzodimma was scheduled to address Imo people at the State House of Assembly on the state of Imo, wins, challenges, and plans.

 

The commissioner however stated that the event has been postponed to a date yet to be determined.

 

“The state of the state address, earlier scheduled to be delivered by His Excellency, Senator Hope Uzodimma, CON, Governor of Imo, on Wednesday, June 18th, 2025, has been postponed. A new date for the ceremony shall be announced soon.

 

“The government regrets any inconvenience the postponement might have caused the invitees and other stakeholders,” he said.

 

The event is expected to be attended by representatives of all the bodies in the state, including the traditional institutions.
