‎KWAKWANSO HOST PETER OBI, MAKINDE, OTHERS IN KANO

‎Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso, the national leader of the New Nigeria Peoples Party has played host to a retinue of esteemed opposition leaders at his Kano residence in celebration of sallah festival.

‎On the list of the visitor, there is Mr. Peter Obi, the 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate, now a member of the African Democratic Congress; Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde of the Peoples Democratic Party; and former Bayelsa State Governor, Senator Seriake Dickson, of the Nigeria Democratic Congress.

‎In a post shared on his verified X account, Kwakwanso applauded the visit and stated that it marks a remarkable sallah celebration.

‎“Delighted to host Their Excellencies, Peter Obi, Seyi Makinde, and Seriake Dickson at my Kano residence for this joyful Sallah celebration.

The meeting occurs amidst ongoing speculation regarding the potential realignment of the opposition in anticipation of the 2027 general elections.
