Two (2) Customs officers in Tuga community, Bagudu Local Government Area of Kebbi State have been reportedly murdered by members of the Lakurawa group.
The attack was said to be carried out in the early hours of Wednesday when the gunmen stormed two security checkpoints in the area. According to reports, a senior officer was set ablaze in the attack.
According to an eyewitness, “The gunmen attacked two checkpoints that are very close to each other.
“They shot one officer, a one star, while they burnt the three star officer alive.
“They came in a truck, disguising as if they were carrying animals, in which they caught the officers unaware.
“Two other officers with gunshot wounds are in the hospital now receiving treatment.”
