Dapo Abiodun, the Executive Governor of Ogun State has rejoiced with Christians in Ogun State and Nigeria in the occasion of Easter Celebration 2025.
Kayode Akinmade, the special Adviser to the Governor on Media explained that the governor called on a Nigerians to set their eyes on the glorious future ahead in tandem with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The statement made it known that the governor encouraged Nigerians to continue to pray for the government and fellow citizens and also ensure that evil individual do not infiltrate and prevail with their inordinate ambitions.
Abiodun reiterated the commitment of his administration to forging ahead with its numerous developmental strides.
The governor said, “As we celebrate Easter, a time-honoured tradition that symbolises renewal and hope, let us reflect on the profound lessons this holiday imparts.
“Easter, observed by millions, transcends its religious significance, offering valuable insights into the themes of love, forgiveness, and new beginnings.
“Easter commemorates the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ, the ultimate exemplar of sacrifice and submission to divine will.
“It is a season that invites us to look at the future with hope, enabled by God’s boundless grace, and fully equipped with the resources of faith, love, and kindness for one another.
“Easter teaches us the significance of resilience and the promise of transformation. This season encourages us to embrace change and pursue personal growth.
“It invites us to reconnect with our values and to extend kindness to one another, embodying the very essence of community spirit.
“As we celebrate this joyous occasion, let us carry forward the lessons of Easter, promoting unity and goodwill in our country, state, neighbourhoods, and beyond.
“On our part, we will continue our developmental trajectory, which has put our state on a firm pedestal of development. We will continue to strive to provide the best for our people to raise their standards of living.”
