Dr Sunday Solarin, the Secretary of the Ogun state PDP has expressed disappointment over the recent defection of six (6) lawmakers to the ruling All Progressives’ Congress.
In a swift reaction to the news of the defection, the party scribe described the law-makers as traitors and mocked them for refusing to quit their positions despite getting their mandate on the platform of the PDP.
“The lawmakers are citing leadership differences in the party for their defection, yet they cannot resign their seats from the assembly because they were elected on the platform of PDP.
“They want to continue to enjoy the privileges of their positions, yet they are not ready to stay with the party because things are not how they want them; they have shifted their loyalty and betrayed the party that brought them to office.
“It’s good for them, but those who believe in the party won’t move an inch away.”
