The Kano State chapter of the All Progressives Congress has established three committees to supervise its State Congress, which is scheduled to take place on March 3, 2026.
Ahmad Aruwa, the Kano APC Spokesperson made this disclosure in a statement released on Monday. The statement also stated that the Congress commences by 8pm on Tuesday at the Indoor Sports Stadium.
”The Congress and Accreditation Committee is chaired by Rabi’u Bichi, with Muhammad Yusuf serving as Secretary.
“Other members include Baffa Babba, Butu-Butu, Hajiya Sa’adatu Algon, Ali Makoda, Abdullahi Rogo, Baffa Takai, Lamin Sani, Sani Ma’aruf, Sani Bala, Khalid Ishaq, Mannir Rimin Gado and Hassan Hussain.
“The Publicity Committee is headed by Muhammad Garba as Chairman and Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa as Secretary. Members include Lawan Hussaini, Jamilu Danbatta, Yusuf Sharada, Musa Liliyasu, Ghali Sadiq, Binta Spikin, Uba Dan Zainab, Ibrahim Yaro and Ahmad Aruwa.
“The Security Committee has Col. Malami as Chairman. Members include Mustapha Bakwana, the Director-General of Special Services, Bala Albasu, CP Balarabe Musa, Group Captain Kura; Garba Sani Diso, and Air Commodore Yusha’u Sulaisu Tudun Wada.”
“The leadership of the party is confident that the committees will discharge their responsibilities diligently and ensure a smooth congress,” he said.
“We call on all members to conduct themselves in a disciplined and responsible manner to sustain the unity and progress of our great party,” he added.
