ONDO TO OBSERVE ENVIRONMENTAL SANITATION SATURDAY

by Adeyinka Adetan

As we approach the end of the month, the April edition of the monthly environmental sanitation exercise will hold across Ondo State tomorrow.

Chairman of the Ondo State Waste Management Authority, Mrs Yinka Alabi, in a statement e-signed through the General Manager of the authority, Mr Adefolaju Omowole, disclosed that the exercise would take place with restriction of human and vehicular movement between the hours of 7-10 on Saturday morning.

According to the statement, only those on essential duties and students sitting for the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examination would be allowed to move during the period.

Mrs Alabi, who emphasised the need for collective efforts in maintaining cleanliness across the state, urged residents to always ensure a hygienic environment.
