Nollywood actor, Taiwo Hassan, otherwise known as called Ogogo, has been confirmed dead after losing a prolonged battle with cancer.
Only recently, his daughters, Lima and Kira Taiwo, made separate emotional appeals to medical professionals, hospitals and well-wishers, seeking help to secure further care for their father.
The appeals came after the family disclosed that doctors had informed them that chemotherapy could no longer be administered, prompting them to seek other medical options. However, an independent medical expert has explained that a shift from chemotherapy to palliative care can occur in advanced cancer when further disease-directed treatment is no longer considered appropriate.
Ogogo, however, gave up the ghost on Sunday.
