‎GUNMEN KILL CUSTOMER OFFICERS IN KEBBI 

Two (2) Customs officers in Tuga community, Bagudu Local Government Area of Kebbi State have been reportedly murdered by members of the Lakurawa group.

‎

‎The attack was said to be carried out in the early hours of Wednesday when the gunmen stormed two security checkpoints in the area. According to reports, a senior officer was set ablaze in the attack.

‎

‎According to an eyewitness, “The gunmen attacked two checkpoints that are very close to each other.

‎

‎“They shot one officer, a one star, while they burnt the three star officer alive.

‎

‎“They came in a truck, disguising as if they were carrying animals, in which they caught the officers unaware.

‎

‎“Two other officers with gunshot wounds are in the hospital now receiving treatment.”
