Branches of Guarantee Trust Bank will close earlier than usual on Monday, June 30 according to announcement from the bank.
This was made known through a customer email sent to notify clients of the temporary and unexpected change to standard operating time.
The reason for the early closure, according to the bank is to allow for it’s scheduled mid-year audit activities.
“Please be informed that our branches nationwide will close to customers early on Monday, June 30, 2025 for our half-year audit.”
It was also noted that there are variations in scheduled closing time based on geographical locations accross the country.
“Kindly note the early closure time below: Upcountry Branches – 2.00 p.m.; Lagos Branches – 3.00 p.m.,” the bank stated.
GTBank advised customers to use its digital banking channels for transactions during the period of early closure.
The bank noted that there would be commencement of normal banking operations on regular business hours on Tuesday, July 1.
The bank appreciated customers for their continued patronage and utmost understanding during this period of audit activities.
