Governor Aiyedatiwa Joins Muslim Community for Iftar, Stresses Religious Unity

Ondo State Governor, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, showcased religious harmony by hosting Muslim leaders for Iftar at the International Culture and Events Center, The DOME, in Akure.

Governor Aiyedatiwa emphasized the unity between Christians and Muslims, pledging to resolve issues such as the Ikare central mosque saga.

He urged peaceful conduct in upcoming primaries and elections, prioritizing the interests of Ondo State. The Governor reassured citizens of his commitment to security and welfare, promising to address lingering concerns.

Muslim leaders praised the Governor’s projects and pledged support, while emphasizing Ramadan’s lessons of unity and empathy. The event concluded with prayers for national leaders and lectures on compassion and kindness.
