by Adeyinka Adetan

Ayodele Fayose, a former governor of Ekiti State has held a closed door meeting with Oba Rashidi Ladoja, the olubadan of Ibadan in a period where there is perceived political tension and uncertainty in Oyo State.

‎Reports have it that Fayose insinuated that Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, was allegedly planning to dethrone the monarch, as well as controversies surrounding an alleged impeachment against Makinde by the state House of Assembly, which was said to involve the traditional institution.

‎Fayose told journalists before proceeding to the meeting with the monarch that “I am in Ibadan to identify with the traditional institution. The truth about the whole saga will soon be revealed.”
