BOLAJI DARAMOLA CONDEMN CONTINUOUS MENACE OF INSECURITY IN NIGERIA

by Adeyinka Adetan

Bolaji Daramola has condemned in strong terms the continuous insurgency menaces that has characterised the country in different forms.

‎His reaction was sequel to a viral report suggesting that an unconfirmed number of worshippers were reportedly abducted when bandits attacked a branch of Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) at Oke Isegun in the Eruku community, a boundary town with Kogi in the Ekiti LGA of Kwara state.

‎A video of the attack, captured during a live stream and seen by TheCable, shows the worshippers conducting a service when sporadic gunshots were heard from around the church premises.

‎Speaking on the viral video of the Kwara church kidnapping attack days after the gruesome murder of the Nigerian Army Brigadier General, Bolaji Daramola said “we can’t keep living in fear in our own villages, farms, and settlements”.

‎He urged both the federal and state governments to double and intensify efforts in tackling the menace of insecurity in the country.

‎Bolaji Daramola concluded by saying all hands must be on deck at a crucial moment like this rather than apportioning blames. He urged all and sundry in the country to look inwards for possible solutions to insecurity problems in the country.

‎”We urge both the federal and state governments to redouble their efforts in tackling insecurity.”

‎”This isn’t a time to apportion blame, but to look inwards for solutions.”
