Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has expressed his gratitude to the people of Ondo State for the prayers and support he has received during his illness.

In a statement on his social media page, the Governor said that the prayers and messages of goodwill have been a “soothing balm for his soul” and have sustained his determination to recover and continue serving the people of Ondo State.

Akeredolu also thanked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, political party leaders, his fellow governors, the State Executive Council, and the members of the State House of Assembly for their support.

He said that he is “in high spirits” and has full faith in the expertise of his doctors, hence, he will return to the people of Ondo State as soon as they deem it expedient.

Akeredolu’s message was met with positive reactions from the people of Ondo State. Many people took to social media to express their support for the governor and their prayers for his speedy recovery.
