Ademola Adeleke, the executive governor of Osun state has explained that the state is being dotted with infrastructural upgrades across all sectors and sections of the state while also commenting that his administration is committed to the provision of top-notch public amenities for the people.
The governor made this remark after he received the City People’s award as the Most Impactful Governor of the Year in Infrastructure. He noted that his administration is committed to completing all ongoing projects.
This disclosure was made by Olawale Rasheed, the spokesperson to the governor in a statement released on Monday in Osogbo.
Governor Ademola Adeleke who was represented at the event by Kolapo Alimi, the state Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment stated that infrastructural development in the state cut across transport, education, health, and agriculture.
The governor said his goal was to bridge the huge infrastructure deficit he inherited by spreading development across the local governments and the main cities and town centres.
Commending City People for the honour, Adeleke further said, “Osun state under our watch is getting upgraded infrastructure in transport, education, health, agriculture, water, power, digital economy, among others.
“We will not stop until Osun attains the number one position on the infrastructure rating.”
