Rauf Aregbesola, former Governor of Osun State and ex-Minister of Interior has received a resounding goodwill from Ademola Adeleke, the executive Governor of Osun State on his 65th birthday.
Olawale Rasheed, the spokesperson of the governor stated in an official statement released on Monday that Aregbesola’s contribution to governance, grassroots development, and youth empowerment during his years of public service are far-reaching.
“Today, I celebrate my dear Egbon, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, as he marks his 69th birthday.
“He is a man of conviction, vision, and uncommon energy, whose passion for service and commitment to societal advancement have earned him recognition and respect across Nigeria.
“Ogbeni Aregbesola has, through decades of active public service, contributed immensely to the democratic growth and infrastructural development of Osun State and our nation.
“Regardless of political differences, history will always acknowledge his role and impact in shaping modern Osun.
