Leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo East and Ondo West local government areas have officially endorsed Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa ahead of the upcoming APC governorship primaries.
The endorsement took place at the Civic Center in Ondo, with key party figures, including Hon. Abiola Makinde and Dr. Jibayo Adeyeye, expressing unwavering support for the governor and his administration.
Other leaders of the party at the event included Dr. Jibayo Adeyeye, Hon. Bola Ilori, Mr. Wale Akinlosotu, Iyaloja of Ondo Kingdom, Chief Mrs Akinniyi Bukola; Dr. Anthony Eniola; representative of Baales in Ondo Kingdom; representative of Christians in Politics; representative of Muslim community, among others.
The leaders praised Governor Aiyedatiwa’s commitment to Ondo’s development, citing the approval of N1 billion for the rehabilitation of UNIMED Teaching Hospital and over N4 billion for a bypass road in Ondo.
Responding to the endorsement, Governor Aiyedatiwa expressed gratitude, assuring the people that their support would not be in vain.
He highlighted ongoing efforts to enhance security, support farmers, and improve education by announcing the recruitment of teachers and wage awards for civil servants in the state.
The governor emphasized that more beneficial programs and policies would be implemented to enhance the living conditions of the people.
