Tundey born ( Tunde Akintoroye), a graduate of Chemistry from Obafemi Awolowo University – is what tastemakers and critics like to describe as a “360 artist”. He’s a singer, performer and songwriter in every sense of these words.
Tundey fa Tundey as he is often called by fans – has proven to be exceptionally versatile across all genres of music and adaptable to any musical setting. Tundey fa Tundey began his musical journey at a young age when he was a Church drummer, he was a member of two Gospel groups. Tundey has worked with a flurry of mainstream and emerging Nigerian artists such as Skukki, Phizzle, Kilt Kranik and many more.
He won Glo Campus Storm Award in 2005 and also competed in MTN Project Fame in 2009. In 2012, Tundey was signed to GTS and he has since released 5 singles. His debut single ‘Omo Jaiye Jaiye’ featured Mohdara off VirusdaMixtape collection. Na E was his second single with video debut on Soundcity and HipTv.
His hit Single was ‘Dundu’ where he featured Reminisce. His mega hit single, ‘Igboro” featured Vector the viper.Tundey also dropped another single titled ‘Fever’ where he featured Big Carter. He released an EP Titled ‘Igboro the EP’ which comprises of 5 songs: Igboro, Dundu, Na E, Fever, and Eyi ga.
His latest single titled ‘My Money’ is topping the chart on many Radio and TV stations in Nigeria.
The Chemistry graduate turned musician is currently working on his album.
