The Young Progressives Party (YPP), Ondo West LGA Chapter, officially declares its doors open to every aspirant and party member who has been sidelined, overcharged, or denied a fair chance by the political establishment.
In a press release issued by the party’s acting publicity secretary, Ige Similoluwa, he urged other political party members who for one reason or the other sees the need to quit their existing political party to consider joining the YPP. In his words, “if you are currently locked in the uncertainty of ongoing legal battles or exhausted by the exclusionary system under pseudo-consensus arrangements, the YPP stands as your definitive alternative”.
Speaking further, he said the YPP is a distinctive political party with a better ideology. “Here in YPP, we do things differently because your merit speaks here, not your money”.
“We are not just a political party but a movement dedicated to transforming the fortunes of Ondo Kingdom through collective progress”.
However, it is important to note that Nigeria’s Electoral Act mandates strict, non-negotiable timelines. Membership registration is ongoing, and this window will close soon in strict accordance with the law.
