‎UNIVERSITY EXPELS STUDENTS OVER EXAMINATION MALPRACTICES

The Confluence University of Science and Technology, Osara, Kogi State has expelled a total of eight (8) students over examination malpractice.

‎Mr Eli Gbadufu, the Deputy Registrar (Academics), made this disclosure in w statement released to the public in Lokoja on Wednesday. The statement stated that the decision was sanctioned by the university’s Senate at its 30th regular meeting held on Wednesday, April 29, 2026.

‎“The expulsion followed investigations by the Examination Misconduct Committee into violations recorded during the first semester examinations of the 2025/2026 academic session,”

‎“The eight expelled students cut across various departments and levels of study, including: Ogedemgbe A. Nelson – 100L, Economics; Yakubu Abdulrazak Adavize – 300L, Library and Information Science; and Olowu Samuel Ayomide – 200L, Mining Engineering.

‎“Others were: Usman Bilal – 400L, Information Technology; Adams Michael – 200L, Information Technology; Ale David – 200L, Mechanical Engineering; Habiba Muhammed – 100L, Business Administration; and Mustapha Faith Adetutu – 200L, Agricultural Science

‎“The move signals CUSTECH’s determination to preserve the value of its degrees and maintain discipline across all faculties as it continues to grow as Kogi State’s premier science and technology university
