‎STRANDED CORP MEMBERS RESCUED BY POLICE

Taiwo Akinsola, the General Manager of Fresh FM Lagos has praised the Ogun State command of the Nigerian Police Force for rescuing 18 National Youth Service Corps members who were stranded at night after their vehicle broke down in a notorious area of the state.

‎Oluseyi Babaseyi, the Public Relations Officer of the Ogun State Police Command made a letter of appreciation addressed to the Ogun State Commissioner of Police, Bode Ojajuni public.

‎“The Corps Members were stranded at night at a notorious black spot in Ogun State after their vehicle broke down. The location is widely known as a hotspot for kidnappers and criminal activity. In that moment of fear and vulnerability, they called for help.

‎“We are deeply appreciative that the Ogun State Police Command, under CP Bode Ojajuni, responded promptly to the distress call. Your officers arrived without delay, secured the scene, and ensured the safe evacuation of all 18 Corps Members to Ijebu Ode and lodged them in a hotel.

‎“Their professionalism, courage and vigilance saved lives that night and prevented what could have been a tragic incident nationally.

‎“This act of service goes beyond duty. It demonstrates the commitment of the Nigeria Police Force under your leadership to protect lives and property, even in the most dangerous hours. The Corps Members and their families are forever grateful.

‎“We commend you, the DPO of the division, and the patrol team who acted decisively. Your quick intervention has restored public confidence and shown that help is indeed available when needed.
