‎SENATOR DISTRIBUTES 18,200 BAGS OF RICE FOR RAMADAN IN BAUCHI  ‎

Senator Shehu Buba, lawmaker representing Bauchi South Senatorial District in the Nigerian Senate has kick-started the distribution of 18,200 bags of rice to families in the Senatorial district in a gesture aimed at supporting them for Ramadan.

‎The Senator explained that the initiative was aimed at supporting Muslims to observe the Ramadan fast and easing the burden on vulnerable families.

‎Deserving families in the seven local government areas of the zone — Alkakeri, Bauchi, Bogoro, Dass, Kirfi, Tafawa Balewa and Toro would start taking delivery of the gesture soon.

‎“In a move that extends beyond my immediate constituency, we earmarked 3,500 bags for Bauchi North and 3,000 for Bauchi Central.

‎“The remaining bags are designated for APC leaders, selected organisations and other stakeholders across the state,” he said.
