SENATE ADJOURN PLENARY IN HONOR OF SENATOR OKEY EZEA

The Nigerian Senate on Tuesday suspended it’s plenary in honor of one of its members, Senator Okey Ezea, a Labour Party senator representing Enugu North in the 10th senate. Senator death was announced last week Wednesday.

‎Jideofor Ezea, the first son of the deceased stated in a statement released on behalf of the family that the senator died in Lagos on Tuesday after a brief sickness.

‎In line with it’s long standing traditional, the Senate suspended it’s plenary in honor of the deceased. The House of Representatives has done carried out the same gesture in honor of the deceased.
