Ahmed Ododo, the executive Governor of Kogi State has urged Nigerians to engage in prayers for the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and also cooperative with his government.
The governor made this call while speaking with journalists after the Eid-el-Kabir prayers at Okene Central praying ground, in Kogi State.
“Eid-el-Kabir teaches sacrifice, love, peace and care, I urge my people, the good people of Kogi State to support the needy, pray for our nation. Let us pray for Mr President and all our leaders for wisdom and divine guidance.
“Security is a continuous task and I want to assure you that we will not relent I commend Mr President, security agencies and the good people of Kogi State for their support and credible intelligence that they are providing at all times and by the special grace of God we continue to work together to keep Kogi safe and secure.
“There is no magic, you are addressed how we want to be addressed, the image of our state depends on what we say about our state .
“As you know, Kogi State is blessed with potential, enormous potential in agriculture, in minerals, culture and tourism So a state that has this, we need to project it and let me tell you we are determined to showcase our strength and create an image that will attract development and investors will be coming because Kogi State is safe and that is what we are doing.
