Modebe Joseph and Sunday Okonkwo, both Nigerians have been arrested by Indian Police Authority for hacking a number of commercial banks as part of an international syndicate.

‎Joseph, 42, and Okonkwo, 35, were said to work for a gang named “Solar Spider”; a group notorious for targeting banks with weak cyber security system.

‎According to Shavya Goyal, Deputy Commissioner of Police, the two Nigeriana work as a part of a bigger cybercrime syndicate operating from Nigeria and South-Africa.
