The Akwa Ibom command of the Nigerian Police Force has arrested and detained four (4) suspected drug dealers for immediate prosecution in the state.
Timfon John, the command’s Public Relations Officer made this disclosure through a statement released to journalists on Sunday in Uyo.
John said the Operatives of the command based on credible information conducted a series of raids on several suspected illicit drug black spots with Uyo at approximately 10 p.m on August 18.
John disclosed that a total of four male suspects were arrested in the sting operation that took place in Uyo while a large cache of illicit drugs and Indian hemp were recovered.
