The Special Adviser to governor Olusegun Mimiko on Political and Mobilization matters, Akin Akinbobola in a press conference in his Alagbaka office has given kudos to Ondo State people for remaining resolute in their support for Mr Eyitayo Jegede S.A.N and ensuring them that victory is sure on the Appeal as he will definitely regain his mandate, popularly and constitutionally given him, witnessed by INEC, openly in Akure, the capital of Ondo State.
Following the withdrawal of Justice Jummai Sankey and other panel members from cases involving Ondo state PDP election matters due to unsubstantiated allegations and the sudden disappearance of the petitioner, Mr Biyi Poroye from the court premises, the President of the Court of Appeal, Justice Zainab Bulkachuwa had on Wednesday 2nd November 2016 constituted a fresh panel to hear the appeals emanating from the disputes of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, for the November 26 governorship election in Ondo state. The new panel was constituted with an express order which read in part, “You are hereby empanelled to sit and determine the above appeal in Abuja Division expeditiously.”
With the above, Akinbobola assured the people of Ondo state and the teaming supporters of the gospel of Eyitayo Jegede that victory is sure and will not be delayed. He appreciated their unwavering strength and courage, he said, It is not unexpected of humans to always want to try the work of God, but God in turn always justifies the righteous when all the antics of mischief makers are exhausted. He then sang the popular song which is common with Mr Eyitayo Jegede himself ‘’O tin sise re bo, baba se lase pe, O tin sise rebo l’Ondo State, baba se koyanju” meaning, God who has stated his good works in Ondo State shall complete his good works.
He said further that, all sincere persons in Nigeria today who are following the INEC, Abang and Appeal processes already know who can be trusted and who cannot be trusted with the lives, hopes and resources of the people of Ondo state. God loves Ondo State, he will not allow anyone who does not believe in the programs of Dr Mimiko to come and destroy our Mother and Child hospitals which is the saving graces for millions of families, Stop our Free Shuttle Bus which is a burden reliever for thousands of families and many other caring heart programs of our God sent Governor, Olusegun Mimiko.
