Ondo State Governor, Hon Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, visited the State Secretariat of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Akure to express gratitude following his victory in the party’s primary election.
Accompanied by party leaders and supporters, he was warmly welcomed by residents as he arrived at the party office.
State Chairman, Engr. Ade Adetimehin, highlighted the unity within the party, emphasizing the need for all members to support the Governor as the APC’s candidate for the November election.
Adetimehin also expressed confidence in the party’s chances, noting the potential defection of opposition leaders to the APC.
Governor Aiyedatiwa thanked the party leadership for ensuring a free and fair primary election and urged party members to unite for the upcoming battle.
He further expressed gratitude to the committees from the National Secretariat for conducting the election and unveiled his campaign headquarters located along Oba Adesida road in Akure.
