Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa has emerged as the flag-bearer for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Ondo 2024 governorship election.
The decision was announced by the Governorship Primary Election Committee chaired by Governor Usman Ododo of Kogi State.
Aiyedatiwa acknowledged and thanked all the aspirants who participated in the primary contest, praising them for enriching the party’s democracy and mobilizing members.
He called for unity within the party, emphasizing the need to work together for the party’s success.
Aiyedatiwa expressed gratitude to APC leaders, including President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Vice President Kashim Shettima, and National Chairman Umar Abdullahi Ganduje, for their leadership and support.
He accepted the responsibility conferred upon him by the party members and highlighted his priorities for Ondo State, including infrastructure development, healthcare improvement, and enhancing education quality.
Aiyedatiwa concluded by thanking all party members and stakeholders for their support and called for collective efforts in building a brighter future for Ondo State.
