The umbrella body of all youth fora in Ondo kingdom, Ondo Ekimogun Youth Congress (OEYC), earlier today inaugurated newly elected set of officers to paddle the affairs of the association for the next two years. The event was held at the Oba Adesanoye Civic Centre.
The Chairman of the occassion Mr. Nelson Osungbenro explained the uniqueness of the Ondo race, as a people who are distinct with track record of execellence. He charged the executives to be steadfast and work tirelessly for the development of youths in Ondo city and the country at large.
The Guest Speaker Prof. Tolulope Akinbogun, the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA), while speaking on the topic “Building Ondo City to a Global Hub; The Roles of the Youths” implored the youths to be innovative and desist from social vices capable of destroying them.
Eminent personalities of the land who love being associated with the youths graced the occassion, led by the Sasere of Ondo Kingdom, High Chief J. O Adeduro, who represented the Oba Victor Adesimbo Kiladejo, Jill III. Dr. Mrs E. F Oyebade(Registrar UNIMED), Iyaloja of Ondo Kingdom, Dr. Ambode and host of others.
