Ondo Community Celebrates as BOD Provides Borehole to End Water Scarcity

Residents of Iparuku and Oke-Osun are breathing a sigh of relief following the renovation of a borehole by the BOD Community Development Initiative. The borehole has been left abandoned for over seven years. The repair has put an end to their struggle with water scarcity in the axis.

Before the Renovation of the Borehole

For years, community members had to trek long distances in search of clean water. However, with the newly renovated borehole, access to safe water is now within their reach.

After the Renovation

“This is a dream come true. We used to walk miles just to fetch water, but now, thanks to BOD, we have our water restored,” a resident expressed joyfully.

The intervention has been met with gratitude, with many praising and praying for BOD’s continued efforts in improving the lives of the people.
