A fire incident has occurred at an external warehouse facility of the Nigerian Breweries Limited in Aba, Abia State.
The company stated that the fire incident occurred on Thursday at its warehouse located opposite its Aba Warehouse where it stored empty plastic crates.
Mr Uaboi Agbebaku, the Company Secretary of the brewery made this disclosure in a document released on Friday to the Nigerian Exchange Ltd. According to the document, there was no live loss in the fire incident and the inferno was curbed swiftly.
“No injuries or fatalities were recorded.
“Operations at Aba Brewery, including production, logistics and sales, remain stable and unaffected.
“Nigerian Breweries Plc remains committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety and operational excellence across its facilities,” it said.
