The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has now announced Monday 3rd, February 2025 as the new date for the commencement of UTME registration as against the earlier stipulated January 31st date,
This piece of information was made available through a statement by Fabian Osuji, the official spokesperson of the commission.
Mr Fabian Osuji made it known that the postponement of the registration commencement is to give the commission more time to make necessary adjustments to its registration template and ensure a hitch free exercise.
“These adjustments came in light of the recent suspension of certain law programmes at selected universities, as submitted to the board by the Council for Legal Education.
“Additionally, the board discovered that some computer-based test centres had used deceptive facilities to be approved, prompting the need for further scrutiny and corrections by disapproving such centres.
“The board acknowledges the disruption this may cause to candidates and other stakeholders and sincerely apologises for any inconvenience,” the statement said.
