‎LATE BAYELSA STATE DEPUTY GOVERNOR’ FOR BURIAL JANUARY 30

The body of Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo, the late Deputy governor of Bayelsa state has been slated for burial on January 30, 2025 by the Bayelsa state government.

‎The burial schedule was announced during the 179th State Executive Council meeting at Government House, Yenagoa by Governor Douye Diri.

Mr. Diri announced that a four-day funeral program had been sanctioned following consultations conducted by a burial committee led by Professor Nimibofa Ayawei, the Secretary to the State Government.

‎“The programme begins January 27 with sporting activities, followed by a Day of Tributes on January 28,” Diri said.

He further mentioned that valedictory sessions are scheduled to occur on January 29 at the State High Court and the Executive Council Chambers.

‎“On January 30, a requiem mass will hold at St Paul’s Catholic Church, Ofoni, before interment,” the governor said.
