A lady by the name Hamdiyyah Sharif, an embattled critic of Ahmed Aliyu, the executive governor of Sokoto State has been declared missing.
Abba Hikima, the lawyer of the said lady declared her missing in a statement made available on her Facebook handle in the early hours of Wednesday.
According to Hikima, “Hamdiyya has been missing since 10:00 am yesterday (Tuesday).
“She left home to buy food stuff in Sokoto and has not been seen since.”
The lawyer noted that the incident has been officially reported at the Sokoto State Police Command.
