Just In: Students block major roads in Akure

The National Association of Ondo State Students (NAOSS) are currently protesting the non-payment of the annual bursary since 2014 in Akure.

The students turned out early in their numbers to block the ever busy Oba Adesida Road carrying placards, singing Aluta songs and some were seen playing football on the road. The ongoing protest is quite peaceful and security men are on ground to prevent any breakdown of law and order.

The National President while speaking with EkimogunMirror noted that, the protest was not against any government but they are out to show their annoyance about the non-payment of Ondo State Students Bursary and Scholarship since 2014. He further added that the protest will be a continuous sit out daily until their demands are met.
