Joke Silva, veteran Nollywood actress has been reported to have lost her elder brother, John Olabiyi Silva aged 72 years who died in August 29, 2025.
Confirming the death of Mr John Olabiyi via a post on her Instagram handle on Thursday with tribute indicative of their close bond and relationship.
“With acceptance of God’s Sovereign will, we announce the call to the glory of my dear brother, John Olabiyi Silva …long John Silva…Bros B…Uncle B…. my easy go lucky brother. Rest in peace. January 22nd 1953-August 29th, 2025,” she wrote.
