In line with the electoral act, the Independent National Electoral Commission has issued a notice in preparation for the Nov. 8 governorship election in Anambra.
Mrs Ugomma Lechukwu, INEC Public Relations Officer in the state made the notice available while addressing newsmen in Akwa on Sunday.
“The INEC notice of poll is in accordance with sections of the Electoral Act, 2010 (as amended).
“Notice is hereby given that election to the office of the governorship shall be held on November 8, 2025,” she said.
She equally announced that the election is scheduled to commence by 8:30am to 2:30pm, stating that each voter will vote at there registration area.
She however added that only registered voters who posses a valid voters’ card and have their name on the register are eligible to vote.
