Hon Olubodun Tayo Marcus, S.A to Ondo State Governor, who shared his pictures at an in-house birthday party, was invited to the Headquarters of International Breweries Plc for deliberation on Monday, August 15, 2016.
This invitation by the brewing giant was announced by Honourable Olubodun on his Facebook Page. In a phone interview with EkimogunMirror.com, he maintained that he can’t divulge what transpired at the meeting. Hon. Olubodun noted that Trophy Lager beer can’t be detached from his everyday life, due to its smooth taste and being a drink meant for those who understand quality. He jokingly stated “Honourable Drinking Honourable; Ko Si Big Deal”.
He added that the pictures that went viral have actually made Trophy Premium Lager beer more popular in the country, as the picture reached close to 3 million people across the globe. He also reiterated his desire to keep preaching the Trophy gospel and getting more converts for the brand in Ondo state due to his influence and street credibility.
We think is a good one by International Breweries Plc by extending the invitation. The needful must be done to make Hon. Olubodun Tayo an official ambassador of the brand, as several youth groups in the state are wrapping up the process of formally inducting him as a Trophy ambassador.
