Ondo State Governor, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, expressed his confidence in the nominated Deputy Governor, Dr. Olayide Adelami, and newly appointed Secretary to the State Government, Hon. Tayo Oluwatuyi, during a meeting at the Presidential Lodge in Akure on Friday. This marked their first meeting with Governor Aiyedatiwa since their nomination and appointment.
The governor, while addressing the gathering, conveyed his belief that both Adelami and Oluwatuyi are highly qualified and possess the necessary skills to effectively carry out the responsibilities entrusted to them in their respective roles.
The governor acknowledged calls and messages from notable personalities, including traditional rulers and religious leaders, commending the appointments.
Dr. Adelami and Hon. Oluwatuyi organized a ‘Thank You’ rally for Governor Aiyedatiwa at the Akure airport, showcasing unity and a smooth leadership transition.
Aiyedatiwa expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and highlighted the dissolution of the former executive council as a necessary transition.
The Governor also praised the initiative of the Deputy Governor-designate and the SSG, emphasizing their dedication to serving the people and fostering unity within the state.
