Ondo State Governor, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, inaugurated six commissioners, eight special advisers, and the Head of Service at a ceremony held at The Dome, Akure.
The commissioners include Emmanuel Igbasan, Engr Razaq Obe, Mrs Omowumi Isaac, Dr Olukayode Abraham Ajulo, Mr Akinwumi Sowore, and Mr. Oyeniyi Oseni.
The Special Advisers appointed are Hon Olugbenga Omole, Mrs Olamide Falana, Hon Alabi Johnson, Summy Smart Francis, Dr Olawunmi Ilawole, Pastor Babalola Joseph Ayoade, Comrade Abdulganiyu Muhammed, and Prof. Simidele Odimayo.
Governor Aiyedatiwa commended the new head of service, Mr. Bayo Philips emphasizing the importance of dedicated service, urging him to prioritize the interests of civil servants.
He also addressed economic challenges, announcing measures to alleviate high food prices and approving N550 million for WASSCE registration fees.
The Governor urged political stakeholders to maintain peace during upcoming elections, emphasizing the need to avoid violence.
