Governor Lucky Orimisan Ayedatiwa of Ondo State has demonstrated his commitment to the development of tertiary institutions under the state’s purview by approving a substantial sum of N1 billion for the construction of a new Senate Building at the University of Medical Sciences, Ondo.
The announcement was made during the institution’s 5th Convocation Ceremony, where Governor Ayedatiwa lauded the collaborative efforts of the university’s leadership and stakeholders in advancing medical education in the state.
Celebrating the historic achievement of producing physicians within the state for the first time, the Governor urged graduating students to uphold the values of excellence, compassion, and responsibility instilled by UNIMED, encouraging them to contribute meaningfully to healthcare and society.
