Fayose suspends Ekiti SSG for 3 months

Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose, has suspended the Secretary to the State Government, Modupe Alade, for alleged incompetence . A statement in Ado Ekiti on Thursday by Mr. Fayose’s Chief Press Secretary, Idowu Adelusi, said the suspension would last for three months. The statement did not give further details of her offence.

Mr. Fayose however, directed the State Head of Service, Olugbenga Faseluka to oversee her office pending her resumption. Ms. Alade was treasurer of Ayo Fayose Campaign organization before she was appointed SSG. An indigene of Ifaki Ekiti, she had earlier retired from the State Civil service as a Permanent Secretary, after heading ministries such education, local government affairs among others.
