‎“Police investigations into the disturbing incidents in Oramudu Quarters, Ozoro, have recorded a major breakthrough with the arrest of eleven additional suspects.

‎“Acting on the directive of the Commissioner of Police, CP Aina Adesola, the CP Special Assignment Team carried out a detailed investigation, analysing video evidence and intelligence.

‎“This led to the arrest of suspects, including Samson Atukpodo, Steven Ovie, Ugbevo Samson, Afoke Akporobaro, Evidence Oguname, and six others.”

The government additionally observed that the actions were executed by criminal elements who took advantage of the situation to commit acts of sexual violence, and these actions do not represent any legitimate cultural practice.
