BREAKING: PETITION TO RECALL NATASHA UDUAGHAN AKPOTI FAILS

The petition seeking to recall the senator representing Kogi Central Senatorial District, Senator Natasha Akpoti Uduaghan by a group has met a brick wall as it fails to comply with constitutional requirements.

This was contained in a statement made available by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on its verified X (formerly known as Twitter) handle on Tuesday.

“The petition for the recall of the Senator representing the Kogi Central Senatorial District has not met the requirement of Section 69(a) of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999 (as amended),” the commission wrote.
