Breaking: Paris attacks suspect changes mind about extradition

Paris attacks suspect abandons extradition tussle

One of the key suspects in November Paris attacks that left 130 people dead; Salah Abdesalam has changed his mind and will not fight extradition from Belgium to France.

According to his lawyer; Sven Mary, Abdeslam “wishes to leave for France as quickly as possible” so he could “explain himself in France”.

Abdeslam’s lawyer has previously stated that the suspect intended to fight extradition to France but was co-operating with the police.

On Tuesday, suicide bombs in Brussels killed 31 people and the attacks were thought to be linked to the Paris attacks network and Abdeslam’s arrest
