Ondo State House of Assembly Speaker, Rt. Hon. Olamide Oladiji, has confirmed the receipt of the Deputy Governor nominee’s name from Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa.
The nominee is Dr. Olayide Owolabi Adelami (MNI).
The Speaker stated that the governor’s action aligns with Section 191(3)b&c of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, as amended.
Dr. Adelami, hailing from Owo in Owo Local Government Area of the State, is set to undergo screening before the House on January 25, 2024.
The announcement was made in a press release by Honourable (Chief) Olatunji Oshati, Chairman of the House Committee on Information.
